Julian Edelman on Seahawks’ Secondary: “They’re all Big, Strong, Ferocious Players”

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and the rest of his offense will be facing a brutally tough Seattle Seahawks secondary in the upcoming Super Bowl.

Understanding full well that he has a tough matchup heading his way, Edelman talked about what Seattle’s secondary brings to the table and how his team is going to prepare for the game.

“They’re a little different because they’re all big. They’re all big, strong, ferocious players. They play in their scheme. They’re well coached. They play hard.” New England’s leading wide receiver said Sunday afternoon. “We certainly have some guys that are big, but this a completely different group and like you said, I’ve never played against them. (We’ve) got to take these next few days (to) prepare (and) get ready for them and try to bring out the A game.”

While Seattle has yielded less than 20 points per game in the playoffs, New England is averaging 40 points in its two postseason games.

Something will have to give here.
