Bill Belichick Cancels Patriots’ Saturday Walk-Through

If the New England Patriots don’t have it by now, one more day of practice isn’t going to help. This is the approach that head coach Bill Belichick took when he cancelled Saturday’s walk-through.

Belichick had this to say about his decision to cancel the walk-through.

We’re just going to meet, take a team picture. “This is it. Practice-wise, we’re done. We’re as ready as we’re going to be. These guys have worked hard. I think they’re ready to go. We’re playing a good team, so we’re going to have to play well.

The Patriots spent three days practicing this week, including simulating a 28-minute halftime break on Friday during a rainy practice session.

This isn’t the first time that Belichick has skipped a Saturday walk-through. He did the same four years ago at their last Super Bowl in Indianapolis. For the Patriots’ sake, lets hope history won’t repeat itself this time around.

Confident that his team is ready as they’ll ever be, the only thing left is to set the final script of plays before Sunday’s big game.
