Peyton Manning Departs Practice Early for Thigh Treatment

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, one of the most valuable players in the NFL, reportedly left practice early on Thursday to receive treatment on his ailing thigh.

It doesn’t sound like it’s time to panic, as Manning is expected to participate in practice Friday per ESPN.com sources.

Fortunately for Manning the the Broncos, the team doesn’t play until Monday Night, which is all the better for Manning to get his thigh back to feeling well. Manning suffered a minor thigh injury late into the first half of their game against San Diego last Sunday. Luckily, Manning only missed a handful of plays and the Broncos’ spectacular offense didn’t miss a beat, claiming a 22-10 win over the San Diego Chargers.

We’ll need to monitor Manning’s status closer towards Monday. However, it would be extremely shocking if the 38-year-old signal caller missed an important late-season AFC matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
