49ers Player Blasts Team’s Offensive Coordinator

San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis isn’t a man of few words. He’s not afraid to take to social media and call out opposing players and even some journalists.

On the field, it seems like Davis also likes to talk some trash.

It’s just the mentality of the former first-round pick and one of the best run-blocking offensive tackles in the NFL. It also makes Davis an interesting person to follow on Twitter.

The fifth-year pro took that that social media site on Wednesday to throw some shade at San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

Greg Roman to me when I was 21: “You know we can get someone off the street to do what you do.” #LifeComesAtYouFast

The “life comes at you fast” hash tag is in relation to San Francisco getting someone off the street to replace Roman, who will be let go by the team following its Week 17 outing against the Arizona Cardinals.

Roman has been a topic of discussion regarding the 49ers this season. His playing calling has been seen as atrocious by many of us who follow the team closely. And in reality, there are some who believe he should have been fired by Harbaugh early in the year.

Regardless of the public perception of the offensive coordinator, Davis probably shouldn’t have taken to Twitter mocking his job and the end of his tenure in San Francisco.

That’s not taking the high road.
