Todd Gurley’s Georgia career is likely over. The talented running back reportedly suffered a torn ACL in his return from a four-game suspension against Auburn on Saturday.
According to Bryant McFadden of 120Sports, it was a non-contact injury late in the game and there doesn’t appear to be any MCL damage.
If there is a bright side to this story, it looks like Gurley’s ACL tear was clean. And while it will impact his draft stock moving forward, we can still expect him to be a Day 1 pick.
Gurley finished the season with over 900 yards and nine touchdowns in six games.
