Chicago Bears’ Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery Have Monster Fantasy Day

Finally giving their fantasy football owners what they’ve been asking for all season, Chicago Bears’ wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery put up monster fantasy football points in Week 11.

It was just like old times owning either Marshall or Jeffery on your fantasy team with Jeffery ranking second overall in fantasy points among wide receivers and Marshall claiming the third place spot. Keep in mind that these two receivers were also playing in blistering temperatures with snow falling throughout the game.

If you started Jeffery in Week 11, he rewarded his fantasy owners with his most elite performance of the 2014 season. Targeted 17 times, he caught 11  passes for 135 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Here’s a sampling of Jeffery’s efforts in Sunday’s win against the Minnesota Vikings as he put the first score on the board for the Bears.

Marshall, who came of his fantasy funk last week, also sported his best outing for the season. He claimed seven catches on 10 targets, tallying 90 yards and scoring two incredible touchdowns.

Flagging down quarterback Jay Cutler, Marshall produced this awesome touchdown catch as if the Vikings defender wasn’t even there.

With both Marshall and Jeffery coming off such incredible performances, fantasy owners can hope the trend continues next week when the Bears host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
