When the officials become part of a story, you know there is something going on during a football game. That happened Sunday afternoon with the Green Bay Packers blowing out the Carolina Panthers.
Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly was ejected for making contact with an official that had come up from behind him. It’s readily apparent in watching a replay of the video that Kuechly had no idea it was an official that had made contact with him.

It seems that everyone is in agreement that this was a horrible call.
Luke Kuechly kicked out of the game. Ref grabbed him from behind and Kuechly swung his arm to get out of the hold. Unfair decision.

Luckily for the officials and the NFL, this game was completely out of hand before Kuechly was ejected.
