We don’t pretend to be a gossip rag here at Sportsnaut, but this is some rather hilarious stuff. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones commented on Alex Rodriguez and actress Cameron Diaz sharing an interesting moment during the Cowboys game against the New York Giants on Sunday.
Apparently Diaz was seen feeding A-Rod some popcorn during the game, which prompted this completely unfiltered take from Jones (via DallasNews.com).
He’s (Rodriguez) a long-term friend, actually a neighbor of mine. I, like everybody, have always admired how exceptional he is, so we have that. He was a guest there of Barry Andrews, whose suite is right next to our owner’s suite, so it made for a nice visit with him. I think the last time we were sitting that close together was at the Super Bowl. Boy, she [Cameron Diaz] was good looking, that girl he was sitting there watching with. I think she was feeding him popcorn. (Jones laughing) It made me choke.
Not exactly sure what’s going on here, guys/gals.
Is Jones choking because it was funny or because Diaz is “good looking?” Let’s hope for the latter here.
On a somewhat unrelated note, these comments made me think of the great Jerry Seinfeld.
