Brian Hoyer Wants LeBron James to be a Browns Fan

It’s not a secret that Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James is a Dallas Cowboys fan. He has made this known more than once on social media over the years.

But Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer apparently isn’t ready to accept Ohio’s native son being a Cowboys fan (via Fox Sports).

He’s (James) a year older than me, the Browns left when he was a kid, too,” said Hoyer, referring to the Browns’ move to Baltimore in 1995. You have to cheer for someone. Hopefully, we can bring him around to it.

Now at 3-2 on the season and with a rather easy upcoming schedule, the Browns may very well become relevant in the National Football League moving forward this season. And with both LeBron as well as Johnny Manziel making noise around the city of Cleveland, it would only make sense for James to become a Browns fan.

Then again, Dallas is tied with the San Diego Chargers for the best record in the NFL.

Let’s all go ahead right now and root for a Browns-Cowboys Super Bowl. If nothing else, just to see how LeBron reacts to it.
