Antonio Brown Trolls Officials with Hilarious Internet Meme

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was incenced on Monday night when officials called what looked to be a perfectly clean touchdown incomplete. So much so that Brown threw a few adult terms the officials’ way following the game.

That tweet has since been deleted

Now a day removed from the controversial call, Brown took to Twitter to both apologize for cursing at the officials and throw some shade their way.

The only thing missing from this tweet was Kermit drinking tea. And if you don’t know what that means, I actually feel sorry for you.

Just Google it.

NFL’s vice president of officiating Dean Blandino had this to say about the call (via NFL.com).

When you look at these plays, it’s hard to take a still shot and have that be definitive evidence,” Blandino said during an interview that will air on Tuesday night’s NFL Total Access on NFL Network. “When we look at this play, I can freeze it on the video at that point, and it looks like the foot is in, but the foot’s not down yet.

“Now when we take it a couple of frames forward, you can see the foot up against the white. So you gotta be really careful with still frames and photos and making calls like this. I’ll show you one other look from behind the play where you can watch the foot being out of bounds there, and then when it comes up, you’ll see clearly, in the white, that’s an incomplete pass.

The call is terribly close, but Blandino’s stance may actually be correct.

In any event, Brown’s tweet is absolutely hilarious. And it just goes to show us that players are having the same issues with officiating as those of us watching the games from the stands and at home.
