More Off-Field Trouble for Jerome Simpson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson only has one game remaining on his most recent suspension, which stems from a DUI arrest last season.

But Simpson might want to prepare himself for yet another suspension. According to ESPN’s Ben Goessling, Simpson has an arraignment in early November on charges of driving on a limited license, marijuana possession and driving with an open containder of alcohol.

He was cited, but not arrested, during a traffic stop on July 7. These charges stem from that incident.

Simpson has been suspended twice by the NFL, the first coming when he was a member of the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2011. It’s possible that Minnesota simply decides to cut ties with Simpson after his current suspension comes to a conclusion.
