Well now we have heard everything under the sun as an excuse for illegal behavior. Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell, who was arrested on Wednesday for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of the drug, has one mighty fine story to tell us.
According to WPXI in Pittsburgh, Bell didn’t know that he could get a DUI for being high off marijuana.

Oh, this is some pure genius stuff right here.
Either Bell was still incredibly wacky off the green tobaccy or he honestly didn’t realize that there were laws in place to safeguard others on the road from individuals high off the drug.
In any event, ignorance in this case isn’t a real defense.
