Jared Lorenzen Still Has That Size Thing Going For Him

Former Kentucky Wildcat quarterback Jared Lorenzen, who was known as the Hefty Lefty during his great college football career, has continued to pack on the weight since he graduated from SEC football.

Shortly after Lorenzen’s NFL career came to an end when the Indianapolis Colts released him leading up to the 2008 season, the studly quarterback caught on with a few semi-pro leagues. And he was looking as enormous as ever.

Now comes this photo from Deadspin of Lorenzen hanging out with Kentucky offensive lineman Matt Elam. In case you are having an issue telling who is who, Jared’s on the left.

We now want you to look at the photo above with the knowledge that Elam is listed at 6’5″ and 350 pounds by ESPN’s Recruiting Nation Football. Yeah, that’s a whole lot of man right there.

Always known as a rather big quarterback, Lorenzen played four seasons with the New York Giants after going undrafted out of Kentucky back in 2004. For his part, Lorenzen has in the past embraced the jokes that come with him being rather larger. This leads me to wonder if this photo was him being somewhat ironic.
