Free Agent Richie Incognito Visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Reports are surfacing via NFL Media’s Albert Breer that guard and free-agent Richie Incognito will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers definitely need some assistance for their failing offensive line and Incognito may fit the bill if all goes well in his visit. However, it is also being reported that Tampa is “being thorough” in interviewing Incognito, who was suspended last season by the Dolphins due to his involvement in a bullying scandal.

Thus far in the preseason, the Bucs have struggled in the guard position creating a dire need to help for which Incognito could come to the rescue. It is worth noting, however, that Incogito, who would be entering into his ninth year in the NFL, has yet to be completely reinstated to play in the regular season.

Per NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington, it is reported that many teams are interested in Incognito, who at this time has been reinstated for the preseason only. Darlington did note that full clearance is expected soon.

Incognito definitely comes loaded with baggage, but he is an improvement where the Bucs desperately need assistance the most, which could lead to a signing if the 305 pound guard can keep his cool.
