Not much more we can say about how poorly Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig performed at the Home Run Derby in Minnesota on Monday night. He tallied a total of zero home runs and one “amazing” check swing in the first round of the event.
Yeah, that’s pretty bad.
Puig seemed pretty uncomfortable out there, but that was to be expected. It was his first Home Run Derby performance. In addition to that, Robinson Cano’s father was the one throwing to him after just five practice pitches prior to the event due to the rain delay.
Still, zero homers from Puig. That has to be a schocker.
