According to the New Times, Miami Beach Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez had this to say.

There was an incident that occurred at Cameo last night at 4:20 a.m., where an alleged assault took place…We have not confirmed it’s the Pouncey brothers that are the subjects, but we are going to have detectives contacting the victims to investigate further.

The brothers were hosting a birthday celebration for themselves at the club where the alleged incident took place.

According to Pro Football Talk, a source close to the situation indicates that the Pouncey brothers were not involved in the incident that sent Vasquez to the hospital.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT the preliminary evidence indicates the Pounceys were not involved in the alleged assault.

Those darn sources again.

For his part, Mike Pouncey is not immune to off-field incidents. He was in the center of the Incognito-Martin bullying scandal and was served with a Grand Jury subpoena for the Aaron Hernandez murder case. In addition to this, both brothers were criticized for wearing  “Free Hernandez” hats immediately after the former New England Patriots tight end was arrested on murder charges last year.
