Denver Broncos’ wide receiver Wes Welker flew in a ride along on a F-16 with the Air Force Thunderbirds this weekend at Cheyenne Regional Airport.

I love Welker’s comment on his tweet. It’s a good thing he held back the puke, as he indicated to a local NBC News affiliate in Denver.

The lunch stayed down. Trust me there were times where I wanted to pull the bag out but I held strong.

Welker participated in three houses of pre-flight training before actually hitting the sky for a 60-minute roller-coaster type of ride which at times moved as fast as 9g’s. Imagine if he stocked up on a bunch of $100’s and let those fly out of the plane at random places.

Hopefully, Welker’s stomach will be completely settled as the Broncos’ training camp opens this Wednesday at their Dove Valley facility.
