Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch isn’t happy with his current contract and is contemplating holding out of mandatory mini-camp. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is now reporting that Lynch could potentially call it quits.
Marshawn Lynch told 2 teammates last year he might retire if Seattle won the Super Bowl. They did. Asked a source, could he walk? “He could”

Always an unpredictable person, Lynch walking away from the NFL wouldn’t necessarily be a shock. Though, it would leave the Seahawks in somewhat of a bind with only Christine Michael and Robert Turbin behind him on the depth chart.
Why would Lynch walk away with over $5 million owed to him in 2014? Rapoport also has an answer for that.
#Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has saved his money earned in @NFL. His retirement thought is real. “I could see him walking away,” source says.

With all this said, Lynch could just be leaking the possibility of retirement as a negotiating ploy for a new contract.
