The Heir 90’s Region pitted four teams from either the late 1980’s or 1990’s that were multiple time champions during their runs. Interestingly enough, the San Antonio Spurs club of 1998-1999 were absolutely destroyed by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls to the tune of a 82-18 percent vote. Don’t fret Tim Duncan fans, he earned his revenge in real life on Sunday by winning a fifth NBA title. Then again, he wasn’t taking on a 72-win Bulls team.

Meanwhile, in a closer vote the 1994-1995 Houston Rockets pulled off a minor upset over the Bad Boys Detroit Pistons team of 1989-1990 by the final vote of 53-47 percent.

We now move on to the finals in the Heir 90’s Region between the Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls and Hakeem Olajuwon’s Houston Rockets.

Here are the results of the two regions currently in voting in the second round.

Old School Region between the 1964-1965 Boston Celtics and 1972-1973 New York Knicks.

Showtime 80′s Region between the 1986-1987 Los Angeles Lakers and 1985-1986 Boston Celtics.
