I for one, love this pick, as the crowd roars! The Minnesota Vikings had two first-rounders and they were able to still acquire a quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater of University of Louisville with the very final pick of the first round.

Yes, this is the compassionate quarterback who bought his mom a pink Escalade, something in which he promised he would someday buy her when he made it big in football. The pink is significant due to Bridgewater’s mom being a breast cancer survivor. And of course, mom Rose, was Bridgewater’s date to the draft.

The nice thing about Bridgewater going to the Vikings is that they do have other quarterback options in Christian Ponder and Matt Cassel that the team can rely upon until Bridgewater bulks up and gets to speed with the team.
Overall, the Seahawks trading down eight spots for the Vikings fourth-round pick was a win-win for both teams.
Good deal for both teams: @Vikings get best QB in draft; @Seahawks get more picks for Schneider. #GoHawks Congrats @teddyb_h2o #NFLDraft2014
