Tom Savage Invited To NFL Draft, Time To Flip Out

Tom Savage, guys and gals.

The former Pitt quarterback, who started his college career last decade with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, has been invited to the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall. He threw 37 career touchdowns compared to 19 interceptions in college.

This could very well indicate that those around the National Football League and those involved in its decision-making process view Savage as a top-40 pick.

The disconnect between the NFL and scouts in the media couldn’t be more real.

Draft Tek has Savage as the 396th-ranked prospect, behind Tommy Rees of Notre Dame.

eDraft doesn’t have Savage on their top-150 big board.

Matt Miller over at Bleacher Report has him 290th overall.

We can play this game for a while, but I thought it would be more fun to get the reaction of some draftniks on Twitter.

We now report live from Cleveland where the Browns are planning on taking him No. 4 overall…
